∎ B.Sc. in Civil Engineering from any reputed Public University
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 10 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Plan & execute all project works including construction and supervision of all the works of civil structures to ensure timely completion
∎ Evaluate, select & engage appropriate contractors for the construction works and monitor their performance
∎ Arrange testing of materials from recognized Universities/Institutions for confirming with the required quality standards
∎ Provide regular feedback to the higher authority related to construction problems and resolve those as per guideline of the management
∎ Cooperate with SCM to procure the best available construction materials from the market and ensure timely supply of materials for on time project completion
∎ Conduct regular meeting with the teams of project wing for proper coordination & cooperation and improvement of efficiency of work
∎ Maintain close liaison with Government and non-Government high officials especially of engineering department and other agencies for project related activities & necessary approvals
∎ Supervise & ensure timely preparation & payment of different types of contractors' bills
∎ Directs and coordinates activities of project personnel to ensure project progresses on schedule. Also guide the project team in needful manner to resolve various problems and give them technical advice as and when required
Additional Requirements:
∎ Travel and/or field work may be required.
∎ Able to communicate effectively (written and verbal) with co-workers, clients, and contractors.
∎ Able to work with minimal oversight, but take direction effectively from managers.
∎ Able to meet deadlines, both internally and externally driven.
∎ Candidates should be familiar with interpreting construction drawings, specifications, contracts, estimating and take-offs, and as-built drawings.
∎ Must be able to perform complex tasks and handle multiple priorities, and have the ability to perform exceptionally under high stress conditions.
∎ Efficient, well-organized and positive attitude when approached with challenges and realities of construction management and consulting.
