∎ 4–6 years of hands-on procurement experience in a textile or integrated manufacturing environment.
∎ In-depth knowledge of sourcing spare parts and consumables for textile machinery, especially in spinning, weaving, dyeing, printing, and finishing units.
∎ Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
∎ Proficiency in ERP systems and procurement tools.
∎ Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced industrial setting.
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Manage procurement of raw materials, spare parts, and consumables for spinning, weaving, dyeing, printing, and finishing operations.
∎ Source and negotiate with vendors to obtain the best value in terms of cost, quality, and delivery timelines.
∎ Develop and maintain strong relationships with both local and international suppliers.
∎ Coordinate closely with production, maintenance, planning, and inventory control teams to forecast and fulfill operational needs.
∎ Ensure timely procurement of critical spare parts and equipment to avoid production downtime.
∎ Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier performance.
∎ Evaluate supplier performance and continuously explore opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement.
∎ Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and quality standards.
