Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Assist in identifying and evaluating third-party manufacturers and suppliers based on capability, quality, cost, and reliability.
∎ Maintain a database of approved outsourcing partners and track their performance.
∎ Support negotiations with suppliers to ensure cost-effectiveness and service reliability.
∎ Coordinate with internal production and supply chain teams to align outsourced production with demand forecasts.
∎ Track outsourced production schedules and escalate delays to the Manager for resolution.
∎ Monitor outsourced production progress to ensure adherence to deadlines.
∎ Support in resolving production delays or quality concerns by coordinating with suppliers and internal teams.
∎ Assist in managing the outsourcing budget by monitoring costs and identifying areas for cost savings.
∎ Support continuous improvement initiatives to optimize outsourcing processes and reduce costs.
∎ Track supplier performance against established KPIs and provide reports to management.
∎ Identify potential risks in the outsourcing process and escalate issues to ensure contingency plans are in place.
∎ Work closely with Procurement, Production, Quality Assurance, and Logistics teams to ensure smooth outsourcing operations.
∎ Provide operational support in supplier selection and on-boarding processes.
∎ Conduct basic market research to identify potential outsourcing partners.
∎ Gather and analyze data on supplier capabilities and industry trends.
∎ Ensure outsourcing activities comply with company policies and regulatory requirements.
∎ Maintain accurate records of supplier agreements, contracts, and performance reports.
∎ Visit suppliers regularly to monitor activities and follow process to production and delivery date strictly.
