∎ Post Graduate Diploma in Supply Chain Management (PGDSCM) is preferred.

Job Context:
∎ A reputed Group of companies, one of the largest business conglomerates wants to hire an energetic, dynamic and self-motivated personnel for group procurement department as Assistant Manager/Manager (Supply Chain & Procurement)
∎ Maintain smooth supply, Purchase delivery system for the group.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Plan and manage the overall procurement (Import & Local) of Transformer, Switchgear, manufacturing materials.
∎ International Supplier Sourcing for all type of import materials
∎ Confirming Technical conformity of materials & machines with factory and higher officials
∎ Price Collection, Comparison and Order Processing
∎ Machineries maintenance cooperation with factory and manufacturers
∎ All sort of international correspondence with suppliers, partners and stakeholders
∎ International Logistics coordination
∎ Maintain purchase SOP in accordance with the policies and procedures of the company.
∎ Ensure cost effective manner while maintaining appropriate quality standards and products' specifications by minimizing avoidable expenses to contribute overall profitability.
∎ Assess the comparative statement (CS) and assist Management to select the vendors by ensuring quality & quantity of products and service level.
∎ Ensure development and implementation of standard policies and procedures following the Management instructions.
∎ Analyze trends in vendor pricing and business activity in order to assess present and future market situation to determine appropriate timing of purchase which ensure the best deal.
∎ Ensure execution of overall purchase (foreign) as per minimum reordering level and storage capacity of the company.
∎ Applying ISO process mapping to the purchase department.
∎ Maintain smooth supply, delivery system for the group.
∎ Up to date stock entry & stock out, product reference update & preparing purchase policy.
∎ Purchase credit arrangement, payment management.
∎ Performing the purchase functions and its methodology in time to time.
∎ To keep liaison with local and foreign supplier.
∎ To work on sourcing, vendor development, conduct negotiation meeting for purchases quality materials with competitive price.
∎ To finalize Procurement Plan within estimated time frame.
∎ Ensure the materials are bought at the most competitive price and delivered on time for production.
∎ Establish strategic relationships with key suppliers who are aligned with the company's needs.
∎ Manage and control all the company's external suppliers with particular emphasis on the purchase of materials for production.
∎ Foster close working relationships with associated departments, Sales & Marketing, Factory etc.
∎ Ensuring on time delivery of all materials as per the production plan.
∎ Coordinate, supervise and evaluate all procurement activities consulting with the management.
∎ Negotiate and manage cost reduction on quoted value through vendor interaction and negotiation by optimization of Quality, Quantity and Price.
∎ Ensure the product's specification in time of procurement to reduce the rejection of purchased items in order to minimize port demur-rage.
∎ Ensure effective utilization and optimization of storage facilities of the organization by coordinating with concerned department Cost Optimization
∎ To carry out any other jobs assigned by the management as and when required.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 30 to 50 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Experience in Transformer, Switchgear, Manufacturing Company.
∎ Must have good verbal & written communication skills in English
∎ Advanced Problem-Solving Capabilities
∎ Must have advanced knowledge in computer application packages (Specially in MS Word, Excel & PowerPoint).ERP Software.
