Job Context:
∎ Responsible for overall commercial functions monitoring, compliance, co-ordination and follow-up with other departments including stakeholders (supplier, buyer, factory, shipping line, freight forwarder, C&F, Bangladesh Bank, customs) and other concerned government and private offices, local liaison offices, audit farms, banks, etc.
∎ Location: HO, Dhaka

∎ Unit: TK Food Products Distribution Limited (Pusti Happy Times)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Commercial Import Monitoring, Sourcing, Supervision and L/C Opening.
∎ Organize Import documents to release Import consignment in time.
∎ Coordinate with Production, Sales and A&F department regularly for shipment schedule and fund management activities respectably.
∎ Follow up the supplier for timely shipment & update the import tracker accordingly.
∎ Check all the import document (Invoice, Packing List, Air Way Bill/ Bill of Lading/ Lorry Receipt, Certificate of Origin, Annexure, Catalogue) and provide necessary instruction to supplier to correct the documents, when required.
∎ For Air, Sea and Land Shipment: Send the scan document to banks, arrange the endorsement, Courier document (AWB) and collect the documents to clear the shipments within the free time allowed avoiding storage/ penalty charges.
∎ Prepare a memorandum, hand over the bank endorsed documents to C&F team for clearing the materials.
∎ Follow up C&F team for arranging the duty payment, hand over the necessary documents to the clearing agents/forwarder and follow up them for clearing shipments.
∎ Follow up with bank for releasing the payment as per LC terms & condition.
∎ Maintain proper records of clearing status and inform the user about the delivery schedule of the material.
∎ Responsible for periodical reports and presentation to the management.
∎ Follow up on the payment realization & disbursement of the funds after getting the payment.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 40 years
∎ Experience: 8-12 Years in Bakery & Biscuit, Snacks & Confectionary of Pure Food line.
∎ Must have good MS Excel skills, Good interpersonal, communication and analytical skills, Good writing proficiency in English and Bangla and convincing skills.
∎ Good understanding of sourcing knowledge of Chemicals, Seasoning, Milk, Vegetables fat, Sugar, Food related machineries & spare parts, raw & packaging materials of Snacks, Confectionary, Bakery & Biscuit products.
