• At least 5 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably within Garments Accessories.

• Experience dealing with utility machinery (Boiler, Diesel and Gas Generator, Air Compressor, Air Dryer, WTP, ETP, Forklift, Elevator) is mandatory.

• Demonstrated experience with PLC-controlled systems, Servo Drives, DB installation per code, and BNBC-compliant electrical installations is strongly preferred.

• Experience with Auto Corrugated Carton machines, Offset Printing machines, and Poly machines will be a strong added advantage.

• Utility & Maintenance: Troubleshoot and maintain all production machinery and utility equipment, specifically including Boilers, Generators, Compressors, WTP (Water Treatment Plant), ETP (Effluent Treatment Plant), Forklifts, and Elevators.

• Electrical Systems: Monitor electrical distribution systems, substations, and power consumption. Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and factory regulations.

• Preventive Maintenance: Ensure maximum machine uptime through preventive and predictive maintenance schedules. Lead root cause analysis for electrical and mechanical breakdowns.

• Team Leadership: Train and guide technicians and maintenance personnel. Coordinate with production teams to minimise downtime.

• Documentation: Maintain maintenance records, reports, and spare parts inventory. Support factory expansion, installation, and commissioning projects.

Technical Competencies (Highlighted):
• PLC & Automation: Hands-on experience with PLC programming, troubleshooting, and modification (Siemens, Mitsubishi, Delta, or equivalent). Ability to diagnose faults in automated production lines and integrate PLC-controlled systems with utility equipment.

• Servo Drive Systems: Strong knowledge of Servo Drive Systems — commissioning, parameter setting, tuning, fault diagnosis, and repair/replacement of servo motors and drives used in accessories manufacturing machinery (e.g., cutting, sewing, embroidery, or packaging lines).

• Distribution Boards (DBs) as per Code: Proven experience in designing, installing, and maintaining Distribution Boards (Main DB, Sub-DB, SDB, MCCB/ACB panels) in compliance with relevant codes and standards (e.g., IEC 60364, NFPA 70/National Electrical Code, and local Bangladesh Electrical Rules). Ability to ensure proper sizing, protection coordination, earthing, and labeling of DBs.

• BNBC Building Code Knowledge: Working knowledge of the Bangladesh National Building Code (BNBC) — particularly electrical provisions covering wiring, earthing, lightning protection, fire safety integration, and load calculations for industrial/factory buildings. Ability to ensure factory electrical installations comply with BNBC requirements and support regulatory inspections/approvals.
