Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Computer Science & Engineering, Diploma in Engineering in Computer Science & Engineering, Master of Science (MSc) in Computer Science
∎ Preferred Professional Certification: CCNA, RHCSA, MCSA.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 4 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
Computer Operating, Database Administrator (DBA), Hardware & Networking, IT System Management, Wireless
Job Context:
∎ We need some experienced IT professional who are interested to work in network environment and have to work with us at least a committed period.
∎ Effective leadership and management skills.
∎ Ability to work collaboratively and under pressure.
∎ Ability to work independently within a team-oriented environment meeting all deadlines.
∎ Duty Station: BARC Office, Manikganj and Head Office, Uttara, Dhaka. Occasional field visits within Dhaka, Manikganj, Faridpur may be required.This is a challenging post with multiple responsibilities and tight deadlines.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Managing IP PABX, IP CCTV and Public Addressing (PA) system in a large organizational environment
∎ Managing emailing system for a large organization using Microsoft Exchange Server.
∎ Managing, Monitoring & Troubleshooting of all ICT related Devices and Services to ensure the service availability at a maximum level.
∎ Adequate proficiency in configuring, deploying, and troubleshooting the following: HTTP, SSO, TCP/IP, VPNs, LANs, WLANs, VLANs, SAN, MX records, virtualization, routing, switching, firewall, anti¬virus, load balancing, monitoring tools etc.
∎ Adequate knowledge in active directory and server configuration
∎ Creative, analytical and proactive problem solver.
∎ Positive attitude demonstrating initiative and drive.
∎ Knowledge in HTML/HTML5, CSS/ CSS3, JavaScript, JQuery, PHP, Word Press, Ajax & and modern web technologies like Bootstrap, responsive Web Design and current UX trends
∎ Must have very good knowledge about TCP/ IP.
∎ Must have very good understanding in Local Area Network.
∎ Monitoring, reporting and maintaining computer systems and network.
∎ Managing Automated Attendance Systems and report on time.
∎ Managing Server Hardware System along with Storage Area Network, mainly in CISCO & IBM brands on Standalone / Blade Centre and Virtual environment with VMware Hypervisor mode.
∎ Structured network cabling.
∎ Network device configuration and testing using configuration template.
∎ Maintenance and troubleshooting power backup system
∎ Installing new hardware and integrate with current environment.
∎ Configuration of advance routing and switching equipment.
∎ Planning and audit Internet bandwidth and IP address for whole network and hosted devices.
∎ Maximize network performance by schedule health checks and upgrades, monitoring performance.
∎ Design, administration and observing firewall to secure network and devices.
∎ Undertaking network fault investigations in data center LAN and WAN environments.
∎ Planning for new projects and monthly reporting of network status.
∎ Train the subordinates from time to time to prepare future growth.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 30 to 40 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Must have experience on security services ACL, IPS, TCP Intercept, DOS protection, Boot protection.
∎ Good working knowledge in Linux operating system for DNS, MAIL and FTP server etc.
∎ Oversee day-to-day operations of the IT team, providing effective leadership, supervision and a safe working environment for the team.
∎ Keep the end user in mind: lead to troubleshoot specific hardware and software issues to ensure maximum approved user accessibility and operations of the systems.
∎ Ensure successful deployment of all technology initiatives within budget and on time.
∎ Develop, implement and maintain security plans and procedures to ensure data retention and security.
∎ Coordinate with other departments in order to understand and meet their technological requirements.
Salary: Tk. 18000 - 22000 (Monthly)
