Job Responsibilities:
∎ Act as In-charge of the Plant’s Laboratory and its equipment for smooth operation and suggest maintenance measures of the plant.
∎ Ensure maintaining the quality of Water for Boiler Feed, Condensate Return, Cooling Tower, and Coolant of the HFO fired engine through injecting dosing chemicals at recommended rate, and take necessary measures to keep the quality of water within recommended level.
∎ Act as In-charge of the Water Treatment Plant for its proper operation and maintenance to ensure its optimum performance (production rate and quality of water) from 1st and 2nd Pass RO within the recommended standard.
∎ Remain well conversant with the necessary chemicals, reagents, instruments and apparatus for dosing and testing of all the required parameters of water, HFO, Lube Oil etc.
∎ Keep up to date records of all tests.
∎ Test the particular parameters of HFO and Lube Oil as per the requirement of the Mechanical Maintenance and Fuel Department.
∎ Suggest procurement of necessary chemicals and reagents and apparatus required for chemical tests.
∎ Keep liaison with concern department of the plant and other reputed outsource organizations conducts various chemical tests of water and lubricants.
∎ Consult the relevant Manuals for O&M of RO Plant, Product Data Sheets and MSDS of all Chemicals and apprise others.
∎ Assess the environmental impact and perform risk management to minimize risk on environment, population and the project.
∎ Develop and implement communication systems to ensure optimum awareness across the Site on Safety, Health.
∎ Be part of the planning, verification, implementation and operation of environmental pollution control systems for power plants, projects and facilities etc.
∎ Constantly upgrade and monitor environmental position control measure in power plant(s) project(s) and facilities etc.
