Job Responsibilities:
∎ Supervise logistics, workshop, transportation, and customer services
∎ Organize workshop and ensure proper maintenance on time
∎ Respond immediately to any issues or complaints
∎ Research proper transport management techniques
∎ Work with other departments to incorporate logistics with company procedures and operations
∎ Evaluate budgets and expenditures
∎ Update and evaluate metrics to assess performance and implement enhancements
∎ Plan and monitor inbound and outgoing deliveries
∎ Develop and maintain strong relationships with all connected with the logistics process
∎ Ensure all completed orders are dispatched on time
∎ Ensure products are shipped appropriately to ensure quality of goods during transportation
∎ Supervise overall Jetty operations
∎ Management capability of Sea going coasters
∎ Clear dealing knowledge regarding custom policy, HS code clarification & application
∎ Clear practical experience on commercial & industrial import & export
∎ Dealing capability of correspondence with foreign suppliers, shippers etc.
∎ Liaison experience with NBR, Custom, VAT, Port, C & F, Freight forwarder, shipping lines trade bodies, BIDA for import & export, BRTA and law enforcing agency

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 40 to 45 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Experience on foreign currency booking & negotiation for various LC payments & receipts
∎ ERP & software based documentation, record & costing experience
∎ Experience on legal application on import, export
∎ Documentation experience on goods clearing by sea, land, air etc.
∎ Good Communication skill both Bangla & English
∎ Ex-Defense officer will be given preference
∎ Experience in Cement sector is preferable
∎ Strong analytical & problem solving skills
