Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelors' Degree in Civil Engineering from a reputed University / Institution.
Experience Requirements:
∎ 1 to 2 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Working in collaboration with team members to design procedures, assessment techniques planning and execution of range of engineering projects.
∎ Provide CADD services, documents and analyze survey reports, maps, drawings, blueprints, aerial photography, and other topographical or geologic data to plan projects.
∎ Perform or oversee soil testing to determine the adequacy and strength of foundations.
∎ Test building materials, such as concrete, asphalt, or steel, for use in particular projects.
∎ Use design software to plan and design transportation systems, hydraulic systems, and structures in line with industry and government standards.
∎ Perform or oversee, surveying operations to establish reference points, grades, and elevations to guide construction.
∎ Manage the repair, maintenance, and replacement of infrastructure.
∎ To take responsibility for the design, content and delivery of specific tasks assigned by authority.
∎ Liaise with any consultants, subcontractors, supervisors, planners, quantity surveyors and the general workforce involved in the project.
∎ Day-to-day management of the site, including supervising and monitoring the site labour force and the work of any subcontractors.
∎ Resolve any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise.
∎ Collaborate with colleagues in the continuous review and development of the organization.
∎ Carry out specific departmental roles and functions as instructed by the superior authority.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 01 - 02 year(s) experience in Power Plants is preferable.
∎ Should be technically and conceptually strong in work area, dynamic in approach, self-driven and with a positive attitude.
∎ Good written and spoken communication skills in English is an essential requirement, as the job requires extensive interaction with the site team, the various contractors and others.
