∎ Age 22 to 30 years
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Ensure daily vehicle loading is done as per the distribution plan.
∎ Prepare and monitor delivery schedules based on order volume and route efficiency.
∎ Coordinate with transporters/drivers to ensure timely dispatch and delivery.
∎ Plan daily/weekly delivery schedules in alignment with sales orders.
∎ Adjust schedules proactively based on urgent deliveries or route constraints.
∎ Maintain daily records of stock movement and availability.
∎ Liaise with the warehouse team to ensure accurate picking and dispatch of products.
∎ Track inventory levels at the warehouse and ensure minimum stock levels are maintained.
∎ Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies.
∎ Provide sales teams with updated reports on delivery statuses and inventory availability.
∎ Highlight any issues affecting timely deliveries or stock shortages.
∎ Manage inventory that arrive from C&F/ port to warehouse.
∎ Maintain inventory records in computerized database of the company.
∎ Help distribution officer for prepare daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly report .
∎ Responsible for day to day reporting of delivered goods to the authority.
∎ Process customer orders and generate delivery challans accurately using Excel/ Tally ERP systems.
∎ Coordinate effectively with management & sales teams to gather updates and provide proactive feedback to customers regarding order status and delivery timelines.
∎ Ensure timely loading of delivery vehicles, closely monitor transit progress, and optimize trips for maximum efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
∎ Creating and executing strategies to improve distribution efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure timely deliveries.
∎ Monitoring and managing inventory levels to prevent stock outs and overstock situations.
∎ Developing efficient delivery routes and schedules to minimize costs and ensure timely delivery of products.
∎ Leading, mentoring, and motivating a team of distribution personnel, including dispatchers, drivers, and warehouse staff, to achieve performance goals.
∎ Ensuring that all distribution operations comply with relevant regulations and safety protocols.
∎ Identifying areas for improvement in the distribution process and implementing changes to enhance efficiency and productivity.
∎ Ensuring adherence to all relevant regulations, safety standards, and quality control procedures throughout the distribution process.
∎ Working closely with sales and transport teams, as well as with external partners like transportation companies and distributors, to ensure seamless coordination and customer satisfaction.
∎ Addressing any issues or delays that arise during the distribution process, such as transportation problems, inventory discrepancies, or customer complaints, and implementing corrective actions.
∎ Other duties and responsibilities as entrusted by the Higher Management time to time.
