Responsibilities & Context:
Assist the head cashier in handling daily cash transactions and restaurant payments.
Prepare customer bills accurately and process cash, card, and mobile banking payments.
Verify food orders and bills before finalizing customer payments.
Maintain accurate records of daily sales, cash receipts, and expenses.
Assist with opening and closing cash registers and counting cash balances.
Check POS system entries and report any billing errors or discrepancies.
Coordinate with waiters, kitchen staff, and management to ensure smooth billing operations.
Handle customer billing inquiries professionally and politely.
Prepare daily sales reports and submit them to the head cashier or restaurant management.
Monitor and organize bills, invoices, vouchers, and other financial documents.
Follow restaurant cash-handling policies and maintain confidentiality of financial information.
Support the head cashier in daily financial reconciliation and other assigned duties.
