Job Context:
∎ Take and Care is a renowned consultancy & construction company in the capital city of Dhaka. We have been working with our client since 2006. The position of Assistant Architect will play a vital role in our operation team.
∎ Job Location: Kalabagan, Dhanmondi, Dhaka.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Perform in designs, extensions, alterations, restorations, and conservation of residential, industrial & commercial buildings, from the earliest stages to completion. The goal is to match the company's needs and to produce sustainable, functional, and aesthetically pleasing designs.
∎ Prepare building design concept / 3D visualization and highly detailed drawings by hand and using specialist computer-aided design (CAD) applications software.
∎ Prepare detailed & working drawings and specifications of residential buildings, factory buildings, depots, landscapes, etc., and make any necessary corrections.
∎ Compile project specifications & ensure that all works are carried out to specific standards, building codes, guidelines, and regulations.
∎ Carry out regular site visits to check work progress and ensure that the project is running on time according to design/layout.
∎ Specify the nature and quality of materials required.
∎ Resolve problems and issues that arise during construction;
∎ Cooperate and liaise with construction professionals on the feasibility of potential projects.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 24 to 30 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Strong Knowledge in exclusive Industrial building design, RAJUK Sheet preparation, Rules of RAJUK, BNBC & other Gov't organizations, and factory designs.
∎ Familiar with different finishing materials of a building.
∎ Self-Driven, Dynamic & willing to work long hours, under time and budget pressure.
∎ Strong knowledge of conceptual design, design development, and production of construction drawings.
∎ Excellent visual and graphic presentation skills and expertise in design software (CAD, Sketch Up, 3DS Max, V-Ray, Lumion).
∎ Photoshop, Corel Draw, and Adobe Illustrator for drawing, modeling & photo-realistic rendering.
∎ Expert knowledge of building products, construction details, relevant rules, regulations, and quality standards.
∎ Reading and understanding blueprints and technical diagrams.
∎ Experience with design modeling.
∎ Willing to visit project site anywhere in Bangladesh
∎ RAJUK & other local government-licensed architects.
∎ Teamwork with Architect/Civil, Maintain the Co-relation between Architectural and Engineering teams.
∎ Excellent Communication skills, and project management skills.
∎ Strong imagination and the ability to think and create in three dimensions.
∎ Visual awareness and an eye for detail.
∎ Commercial awareness and business acumen.
