Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Job Location: Banani, Dhaka
∎ Job Overview:
∎ We are seeking a motivated and results-driven architect equivalent to Executive/ Sr. Executive to join our dynamic team.
∎ Key Responsibilities:
∎ • Drafting & Documentation: Create and modify comprehensive architectural and structural drawings using AutoCAD, ensuring all technical details are accurately represented.
∎ • Design Integration: Work closely with the technical team to ensure all drawings are in full compliance with design intent and site-specific conditions.
∎ • Site Coordination: Conduct site visits as needed to take accurate measurements, monitor execution progress, and make necessary adjustments to drawings.
∎ • Document Management: Assist in the preparation, compilation, and organization of design and construction-related documents for project use and records.
∎ • Precision & Clarity: Maintain high standards of drawing accuracy, ensuring all plans are clearly annotated, well-organized, and ready for use by the construction team.
∎ Experience
∎ • At least 2 years
∎ • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
∎ Engineering Firms, Architecture Firm
∎ Education
∎ • Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch), Diploma in Architecture
∎ Additional Requirements:
∎ • Candidates must be at least 22 years of age.
∎ • Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential and non-negotiable.
∎ • Must possess a solid understanding of construction techniques and commonly used materials in interior design projects.
∎ • Should be able to confidently interpret architectural and structural plans with accuracy.
∎ • Requires strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with both design and construction teams.
∎ • Experience: A minimum of 2 years in a drafting role within an architectural or interior design firm is required.
∎ • Software Skills: Advanced skills in AutoCAD are mandatory. Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.) is an added advantage.
∎ • Technical Knowledge: Must be well-versed in interior detailing, structural components, joinery practices, and measurement systems.
∎ • Work Ethic: Should be self-motivated and able to work independently, while also being receptive to guidance and feedback from senior architectural staff.
