∎ Bachelor in Engineering (BEngg) in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical from foreign or local reputed University

Job Context:
∎ Reporting To: Head Operations
∎ Sub Function/ Function: Production
∎ Location/ Circle: Bangladesh
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Responsible for the entire production activities, produce high quality standard products with high prime yield and to meet customer satisfaction.
∎ Achieve the production schedules as per the needs of the marketing department.
∎ To minimize the down time by timely planning for the pass changes and guides. Responsible for implementing Management strategies to meet the business goals of the company.
∎ Plan and draw up a production schedule
∎ Decide on and order the resources that are required and ensure stock levels remain adequate
∎ Select equipment and take responsibility for its maintenance
∎ Set the quality standards
∎ Ensure that the production will be cost effective by estimating costs and negotiating and agreeing budgets with both clients and managers
∎ Monitor the production processes and adjust schedules as needed
∎ Monitor productivity rates and product standards and implement quality control programme
∎ Organize the repair of any damaged equipment
∎ Liaise with different departments, teams and companies, e.g., suppliers, managers, clients
∎ Ensure that health and safety guidelines are followed at all times
∎ Ensure customer orders are completed on time and to budget and that quality standards and targets are met
∎ Work with managers to implement the company's policies and goals
∎ Collate and analyses data, putting together production reports for both factory managers and customers
∎ Supervise and motivate a team of workers
∎ Review worker performance and identify training needs.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 35 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Should have 15-20 Yrs. of relevant experience
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s): Engineering, Operation & Maintenance, Production/ Operation Management
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Engineering Firms, Manufacturing (FMCG), Multinational Companies, Overseas Companies
∎ Must be self-motivating, self-starter, fast thinker, industrious, result oriented with 'Can Do' attitude
∎ Must be able to work on own as well as being a team player
∎ Be flexible to provide off-hour support
∎ Ability to work under stressful situation
∎ Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a proactive approach.
∎ Should have requisite Leadership/people management skills.
∎ Should have experience in managing various quality initiatives in the plant.
∎ Awareness of current Safety, Health, Environmental and Employment, legislation. Understanding of internal/external customer/supplier relationships.
∎ Understanding of Information Systems and their employment within a business and value in offering consolidated information for integrated businesses.
∎ Business and commercial awareness/exposure
∎ Presentation/communication skills. Very Strong Analytical skills
