Agro based firms (incl. Agro Processing/Seed/GM)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Manage purchasing of all kind of Raw materials, medicine & Additives for Feed Mill, Breeder Farm and Hatcheries.
∎ Collaborate with inventory control and sales to develop metrics for gauging inventory level needs and then maintaining those levels throughout the year.
∎ Supplier selection, price benchmark and price negotiation for all kind of raw materials.
∎ Maintain records of goods ordered and received.
∎ Supplier relationship management including contract negotiation, monitoring supplier performance and ensure adherence to contractual commitments.
∎ Prepare and process requisitions and purchase orders for all goods.
∎ Prepare Comparative Statements of products for board approval.
∎ Analyze market and delivery systems in order to assess present and future material availability.
∎ Resolve vendor or supplier grievances and claims against supplies.
∎ Ensuring quality of all raw materials.
∎ Obtain NOC and other similar government approvals for importing raw materials and Day Old Chicks.
∎ Prepare reports regarding market conditions for assisting management in decision making.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Must have experience in Feed Mill industry.
∎ Should be skilled negotiator.
∎ Computer knowledge is must.
∎ Fast acting for Problem Solving.
Salary: Negotiable
