Job Responsibilities:
∎ Specific duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
∎ Assist the Country Representative and the Senior Finance and Administrative Manager of IFPRI-Bangladesh in day-to-day administrative matters.
∎ Provide support for organizing special events, including meetings and conferences and training events. This function will include venue reservation, distribution of invitations and follow up, printing briefs and other materials, food catering and other functions, as needed.
∎ Supervise and monitor IFPRI's survey activities in the field through frequent field visits during surveys.
∎ Maintain office vehicle use roster properly.
∎ Arrange in hiring vehicles for other projects field trips/official meetings etc.
∎ Procure office supplies and maintain stock inventory.
∎ Make timely payment of office utility bills.
∎ Maintain and follow up vendor related works.
∎ Perform other duties as assigned by the management.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Demonstrated experience handling confidential matters.
∎ Proficiency with computers, including experience with MS Office, especially Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.
∎ Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize work responsibly with minimal supervision.
∎ Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work independently.
∎ Experience in field survey monitoring and/or conducting survey interviews is desirable.
