∎ Background and purpose of this consultancy contract:
∎ In Bangladesh, Solidar Suisse has been supporting projects in the field of decent work since 2015. Since the start of the Rohingya refugee crisis in 2017, Solidar Suisse has been supporting projects in favor of Rohingya refugees in the fields of shelter, food security and WASH, implemented by local partner organizations. In 2018, Solidar established it`s presence in Bangladesh and has selected two local organizations to implement Shelter and Livelihoods projects. The project operations are based in Cox`s Bazar.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Primary responsibilities:
∎ The primary responsibility is to provide administrative support to the staff of Solidar Suisse Bangladesh Office
∎ Key Tasks:
∎ Provides administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the office.
∎ Schedules meetings, workshop, field visits and provide administrative supports to visitors.
∎ Carry out administrative duties such as filing, typing, copying, binding, scanning, etc.
∎ Makes travel arrangements for staff such as booking flights, cars, and hotel or restaurant reservations.
∎ Supports team by performing tasks related to organization and strong communication.
∎ Collects information from the vendors of different goods and services and assist in procurement process.
∎ Assists in banking and payments.
∎ Ensures operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements, calling for repairs, maintaining equipment inventories and evaluating new equipment and techniques.
∎ Maintains supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level, anticipating needed supplies, placing and expediting orders for supplies.
∎ Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 02 year of relevant work experience
∎ Proficiency in verbal and writing skill both in Bengali and working knowledge in English Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint; Outlook)
∎ Personal competencies:
