Job Context:
∎ The TAHZINDONG Organization for Environmental and Socio-economic Development - began its January in 2001 with it headquarter in Bandarban Hill District. TAHZINGDONG is a non- profit and non-government voluntary organization devoted is to empower the most disadvantage and vulnerable people in CHT`s in order to bring them towards alternative development process for sustainable development.
∎ TAHZINGDONG in partnership with Helen Keller international (HKI) implementing Bandarban Agriculture and Nutrition Initiative (BANI) project in Bandarban Sadar and Lama Upazila.
∎ Contract Duration: 2 years (Initially), with possibilities of extension upon the available of fund.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Review Purchase Requisition Forms (PRF) and assign tracking number, record each PR in the procurement status log;
∎ Draft Request for Quotation (RFQ)/Request for proposal (RFP) as per approved PR and send to admin Manager for review;
∎ Preparing plans for the purchase of equipment, services, and supplies;
∎ Meeting with vendors and clients to negotiate the best contracts and reporting to concern line management.
∎ Liaising with delivery and warehouse teams to ensure goods are received on time.
∎ Coordinate fully compliant procurement systems and operating procedures and enforcing the organization's procurement policies and procedures;
∎ Supervise and monitor the record keeping Field Office store inventory (stationary, office maintenance, etc,), inventory Management, asset verification and report preparation and ensure the accuracy before submitting to the management;
∎ Maintaining and updating supplier information such as qualifications, delivery times, product ranges etc;
∎ Provide administrative support to the Admin Zone Coordinator, Area Coordinator and other field staff of BANI Project;
∎ Establish adequate and appropriate office security system and ensure safety and security of staff and organizations property;
∎ Ensure that the products and supplies are high quality o Maintain and update a list of suppliers and their qualifications, delivery times, and potential future development preserve the procurement files in a orderly fashion;
∎ Responsible for preparing job advertisement for BANI project under the guidance of HR Manager of TAHZINGDONG, when required;
∎ Prepare appointment letter for selected candidates, letter of thanks for the Selection Committee Members, panel listed candidates and not selected candidates;
∎ Arrange induction program or orientation program for newly appointed staff for the project as per policy;
∎ Forward Employee Performance Appraisal Form (EPAF) to the staff members as per plan and ensure that filled-in EPAF has been received by the HR section within the deadlines;
∎ Assist to organize any kind of TAHZINGDONG HR & Administrative related training/workshop/ meeting for project staff;
∎ Update employee data base in HRIS on regular basis and also leave information;
∎ Assist Program Director in preparing various reports for publication in the TAHZINGDONG website and News Letter and Annual Report;
∎ Responsible for systematic preservation and documentation of correspondences of HR section under the guidance of the Manager (HR) of TAHZINGDONG;
∎ Perform any other duties and responsibilities as and when needed as assigned by the Executive Director and Program Director for the interest of the Organization;
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 25 to 50 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ At least 3-5 years practical experience in relevant sector in the development field.
∎ The candidate must have admin & procurement report writing skills in English.
∎ S/he will be conduct to search on potential product, vendors and service provider and made comparative cost analysis and ensure quality for best business deal.
∎ Advance knowledge in product procurement and its process.
∎ Having knowledge in staff recruitment and personal file maintaining
∎ Having skill in asset verification and maintaining inventory
∎ Willingness to travel frequently to project location for coordination.
∎ Literate in computer operation specially MS office & internet.
∎ Excellent Communication skill, strong initiative & good judgment.
∎ Person with disability are encouraged to apply
Salary: Tk. 40000 - 50000 (Monthly)
