∎ Excellent communication and interpersonal skill;

∎ Team-working skills;

∎ Information and Communication Technology Industry Skills Council (ICT ISC) is an ICT industry-led and ICT industry-driven organization, which is recognized and supported by the Government of Bangladesh. This is non-profitable by nature, limited by guarantee and registered at the Office of the Registrar of Joint Stock Companies & Firms, Bangladesh under section 28 of the Company Act 1994.
∎ ICT ISC works with multiple stakeholders including ICT industry & its sub-sectors, skills training providers, associations, chambers, government departments, national, international & multinational organizations & development partners, donor agencies, NGOs and research organizations that operate with the demand side of skills related things. These entities are entrusted with responsibilities of skilled human resources, fund arrangement, policymaking, job placement and research study, of which, ICT ISC is an integral part.
∎ The Admin-cum-Procurement Officer is a mid-level position with wide scope and opportunity of career path at institutional, corporate & business environment. The position is a part of the team that manages, co-ordiantes and monitors activities related to skills development in the field of Information and Communication Technology. The Admin-cum-Procurement Officer will assist planning & setting strategies that help smooth running the Admin & Procurement processes of the organization. ∎ The Admin-cum-Procurement Officer will be working with the Corporate Team. S/he must be adroit with procurement & administrative processes having adequate knowledge, experience & expertise in govt. procurement policy & rules. S/he must have the ability to independently managing procurement system efficiently & effectively.
∎ The Admin-cum-Procurement Officer will be working under supervision of the Chief Executive Officer of ICT ISC in discharging the job responsibilities.
∎ Develop and maintain procurement plans in collaboration with the CEO and stakeholders to meet organizational needs.
∎ Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to ensure best value, quality, and timely delivery of goods and services.
∎ Build and maintain strong vendor relationships and ensure proper contract management.
∎ Prepare and issue purchase orders, ensuring accurate specifications, budget allocation, and compliance with procurement policies.
∎ Monitor supplier performance and conduct regular evaluations to ensure the quality of products/services, cost efficiency, and delivery timelines.
∎ Maintain accurate records of stock levels, reordering items when necessary to prevent shortages.
∎ Ensure the proper storage and security of goods and equipment.
∎ Ensure all procurement activities comply with the organization's procurement policies, legal requirements, and industry standards.
∎ Maintain procurement documentation, including purchase records, contracts, and invoices, and prepare regular procurement reports.
∎ Oversee day-to-day office administration, including office supplies management, facility maintenance, and ensuring a clean and organized work environment.
∎ Maintain proper filing systems for both electronic and paper documents, ensuring confidentiality and easy retrieval of information.
∎ Coordinate logistics for meetings, events, and staff travel arrangements, including booking venues, transportation, and accommodation.
∎ Assist the HR and finance with administrative tasks, such as processing invoices, preparing reports, and supporting recruitment or payroll processes.
∎ Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence, including emails, letters, and phone calls, ensuring professional communication with external and internal stakeholders.
∎ Provide administrative support as required by the management to enhance operational efficiency.
