AMONG US UPDATE: ALL NEW MODE & FIFTH MAP
One of the most engaging and enjoyable games available presently is Among Us. Despite its 2018 release date, it proved popular during the first year of the pandemic as people stayed indoors to avoid spreading the virus. And it’s a lighthearted game where lying and betrayal are important themes. Typically, anyone from four to ten buddies can join in on the fun. The Game Awards named it the Best Multiplayer Game and the Best Mobile Game, respectively.
Impostors and Crewmates are the only two classes in this game. Depending on the number of participants, between one and three people will be selected as the Impostors while the rest of the players make up the Crew. There are four distinct maps to select from, with the newest addition being the Airship Map.
The game’s creator, Innersloth, has lately revealed that a whole new map, among other things, will soon be made available to players. Come with me as I uncover the nature of these enhancements and the forthcoming changes.
New Among Us Hide & Seek Mode
InnerSloth will have a full slate of upgrades and surprises for all Among Us gamers in 2021. In fact, they announced the addition of a Hide & Seek mode during the Summer Game Fest. The seekers’ field of view will be drastically reduced in this setting. Of course, it’s up to the people who are trying to stay undetected to figure out the best places to hide.
The Sheriff and the Scientist are only two of the new roles that will be introduced alongside the new mode. No one has yet explained how these roles would function in the new game mode, but we can be confident that there will be several ways to play. New Colors, New Visors & More Players
By introducing 15-player support, InnerSloth makes the entire game more exciting and adventurous, so more of your friends may join in the fun of Among Us. Everyone can feel welcome and at home at your get-togethers from now on. On top of that, InnerSloth is introducing some brand new hues. Coral, peach, brown, maroon, banana yellow, and gray are among these. You can now accessorize your crewmate with a variety of new visor attachments.
InnerSloth added that cross-play between Among Us accounts has been enabled. The more platforms a player has their account linked to, the simpler it is to play the game on all of them. In addition, there will always be new milestones to aim for.
Top Secret Map
The release of the fifth map has not been announced as of yet. Given the success of March 31, 2021’s The Airship, we may safely conclude that whatever comes next will be even better. However, InnerSloth is adding a feature that will allow users to blow the Airship’s horn as part of an upcoming update.
